Tips and Guidelines

Gas Grills – Gas grills are not allowed at any property.

Septic Systems – To maintain a properly functioning septic system, follow these guidelines:

  • Only flush toilet paper down the toilet. Items such as paper towels, tissues, and feminine hygiene products must not be flushed into the septic system.
  • Toxic fluids (cleaning fluids, drain cleaners, etc.) cause damage to the system and should be disposed of sparingly.
  • Please don’t put grease down the drains.
  • Animal fur or human hair should not be flushed into the septic system.
  • Disposable wipes of any kind are not flushable (even if they say otherwise).

If we determine that these guidelines weren’t followed, tenants will be charged for any services provided to resolve the issue.

Winter Reminders – Remember to turn off outside faucets so pipes do not burst. During frigid weather, be sure to allow heat to reach pipes along outside walls to prevent freezing.

Power Outages – Contact Duke Energy to report the outage.
